Albanian

Etymology

Possibly a variation of vogë. The meaning "voice" suggests it might be related to Proto-Italic *wōks, from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Indo-European *wṓkʷs (speech, voice), but the very unclear usage of the word makes it extremely difficult to determine. If this were the case, the proto form would be *vòska(Can this(+) etymology be sourced?)
