Etymology[edit]

Morphologically yeddi +‎ -inci. Cognate with Old Turkic 𐰘𐰃𐱅𐰨 (yetinči, seventh),[1] Turkish yedinci, Turkmen ýedinji, Kazakh жетінші (jetınşı), etc.
