  1. Obsolete form of aenigmatite.
    • 1899, Henry S. Washington, The American Journal of Science, volume VIII, page 294:
      The third, which lies far out in the Mediterranean, and which is possibly the oldest, is much higher in Na₂O and seems to be characterized by the presence of peculiar soda minerals, such as ænigmatite and ægirine, nepheline also occurring in places.
