Etymology[edit]
Inherited from Byzantine Greek ὁλημερίς (holēmerís), from ὅλος (hólos, “all”) + ἡμέρα (hēméra, “day”) + -ίς (adverbializing suffix, analogical to νωρίς etc.).[1]
