[edit]Etymology
[edit]Mishnaic, from Ancient Greek πίναξ (pínax, “board, plank; tablet”), likely through a form such as πίνακος (pínakos) or πίνακας (pínakas), the former representing either the genitive or a dialectal nominative, and the latter representing the ancestor of the Modern Greek πίνακας (pínakas).

Synonyms
[edit]- דִּפְתָּר m (diftar)
- מַחְבֶּרֶת f (makhbéret)
