- ܦܬ݂ܝܼܚ ܠܝܼ ܬܲܪܥܵܐ. ― pṯīḥ lī tarˁā. ― I opened the door.
- ܫܵܥܲܬ݂ ܟܡܵܐ ܒܸܬ ܦܵܬ݂ܚܝܼ ܩܘܼܕܡܹܐ؟ ― šāˁaṯ kmā bit pāṯḥī qudmē? ― What time will they open tomorrow?
