Etymology[edit]

From Proto-Slavic *tъkъmo. Cognate with Bulgarian тъкмо (tʺkmo, just, exactly), Macedonian токму (tokmu, just, exactly) and Serbo-Croatian такмен, takmen (equal). Related to точка (točka).
