הִפְנָה • (hifná) third-singular masculine past (hif'il construction, passive counterpart הופנה / הֻפְנָה)

1. to turn
2. to divert, to direct
3. to allocate (resources, etc)

   נצתרך להפנות לזה הרבה משאבים בזמן הקרוב.

   Well need to allocate it a lot of resources in the near term.

4. to draw or to turn (attention)

   הפנו את תשומת ליבכם ימנה ותראו את המגדל החדש.

   Turn your attention right and see the new tower.

5. to refer someone

   הרופא שלי הפנה אותי אליה.

   My doctor referred me to her.
