Usage notes[edit]

  • This verb is specific to bracelets and necklaces; the verb לָבַשׁ (lavásh) is used for clothing, the verb נָעַל (naʿál) for shoes (as well as sandals and so on), the verb הִרְכִּיב (hirkív) for glasses, the verb עָנַד (ʿanáđ) for bracelets and necklaces, and sometimes the verb גָּרַב (garáv) for socks.
