أَعْجَمَ (ʔaʕjama) IV (non-past يُعْجِمُ (yuʕjimu), verbal noun إِعْجَام (ʔiʕjām))

  1. to speak or write unclearly or unintelligibly, to mumble, to lisp (sense 2)
  2. to cause to be incorrect, unclear or barbarous
  3. to point letters or a text
  4. to shut or lock (the door)
  5. to boil strongly
