Borrowed from Aramaic מַלְכוּתָא / ܡܰܠܟ݁ܽܘܬ݂ܳܐ (malḵūṯā).

- وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُرِي إِبْرَٰهِيمَ مَلَكُوتَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَلِيَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُوقِنِينَ
- wakaḏālika nurī ʔibrāhīma malakūta s-samāwāti wal-ʔarḍi waliyakūna mina l-mūqinīna
- And thus did We show Abraham the kingdom of the heavens and the earth so that he would be among the certain in faith
- 1865 CE, Bible (SVD), Gospel of Matthew, 8:11:
- وَأَقُولُ لَكُمْ أَنَّ كَثِيرِينَ سَيَأْتُونَ مِنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَيَتَّكِئُونَ مَعَ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَإِسْحَٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ فِي مَلَكُوتِ السَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- waʔaqūlu lakum ʔanna kaṯīrīna sayaʔtūna mina l-mašriqi wālmaḡribi wayattakiʔūna maʕa ʔibrāhīma waʔisḥāqa wayaʕqūba fī malakūti as-samāwāti
- And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and will recline with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of the heavens.
