   ܗܲܪ ܗܵܕܟ݂ܵܐ ― har hādḵā ― Just like that

   ܗܲܪ ܒܗ̇ܘ ܝܵܘܡܵܐ، ܙܘܼܠܙܵܠܵܐ ܗ݇ܘܹܐ ܠܹܗ. ― har b-awa yāwmā, zulzālā wē lēh. ― On that very day the earthquake happened.

2. still, even used to modify adjectives or adverbs comparatively

   ܐܵܦܸܢ ܡܚܲܫܒܢܸܬ ܠܹܗ ܢܝܼܚܵܐܝܼܬ݂، ܗܲܪ ܠܹܐ ܝܠܹܗ ܣܵܦܩܵܐ. ― āpin mḥašbnit lēh nīḥāˀīṯ, har lē ìlēh sāpqā. ― Even if you calcualate it carefully, it is still not enough.

   ܗܲܪ ܐ݇ܬ݂ܹܐ ܠܹܗ، ܟܠ ܚܲܕ݇ ܡܓܘܼܫܸܩ ܠܹܗ. ― har ṯē lēh, kul ḥa mgūšiq lēh. ― Once he arrived, everyone stared.

   ܡܬܘܼܡܸܡ ܠܝܼ ܗܲܪ ܕܡܨܹܐ ܗ݇ܘܵܐ ܠܝܼ. ― mtūmim lī har d-mṣē wā lī. ― I finished as soon as I could.

   ܡܘܼܚܠܸܦ ܠܹܗ ܐܸܠܵܐ ܗܲܪ ܡܡܘܼܠܸܠ ܠܝܼ ܥܲܡܹܗ. ― muḥlip lēh illā har mmūlil lī ˁammēh. ― He refused but I spoke to him anyway.

   ܠܲܝܬ ܠܝܼ ܚܲܫܵܐ ܒܵܣ ܗܲܪ ܥܒܘܿܕ݂ ܠܵܗ̇! ― layt lī ḥaššā bās har ˁbōḏ lāh! ― I don't care just do it anyway!
