The suffix -āris is added to a noun to form an adjective of relationship to that noun.
- Examples:
If the root word or its stem does not contain an l, then the form (deprecated template usage) -ālis generally is used instead. Sometimes both forms are found, e.g. (deprecated template usage) līneālis and (deprecated template usage) līneāris, from (deprecated template usage) līnea.
