Fully generic templates
{{pl-decl-noun}}
{{pl-decl-noun-pl}}plurale tantum
{{pl-decl-noun-sing}}singulare tantum
{{pl-decl-phrase}}noun phrase
{{pl-decl-generic}} – declension by cases with arbitrary column headers, useful for some pronouns
Templates which are almost never useful or are obsolete
{{pl-decl-noun-f-softcons|twa|rz|e}} – ending in a consonant. Use {{pl-decl-noun-f}} without parameters or with 3 positional parameters

All of the above templates support the following named parameters:

  • |tantum=: pass |tantum=s or sg to generate a singulare tantum and |tantum=p or pl to generate a plurale tantum.
  • |num=: alias for |tantum=.
  • |lemma=: lemma form of the word. Normally this is taken from page title; use this parameter to override this. For instance, to put a declension for liceum on some different page, you can use {{pl-decl-noun-n|lemma=liceum}}.
  • |nolinks=: when set, disables linking in the declension table.
  • |nocat=: when set, disables automatic addition of a category for singularia and pluralia tantum. Useful if you want to put the declension on another page, e.g. in an appendix.

Specific forms can also be overridden with the following parameters. Note that if according to the declension pattern a given form is used in multiple cases, overriding the first case where it appears will automatically override all other occurrences in the declension table; for instance, specifying |genp= for a masculine personal noun will also override the accusative plural with the same form. Also note that such automatic overrides are occasionally wrong (e.g. the vocative singular of pan is panie, not panu, which is the locative singular form) and that additional overrides may thus be necessary to correct them.

  • |noms=: nominative singular
  • |gens=: genitive singular
  • |dats=: dative singular
  • |accs=: accusative singular
  • |inss=: instrumental singular
  • |locs=: locative singular
  • |vocs=: vocative singular
  • |nomp=: nominative plural
  • |genp=: genitive plural
  • |datp=: dative plural
  • |accp=: accusative plural
  • |insp=: instrumental plural
  • |locp=: locative plural
  • |vocp=: vocative plural
