WT:BRAND, and Japan is guaranteed to shorten long proper nouns in this manner. —Suzukaze-c (talk) 22:03, 9 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

  • Isn't WT:BRAND something for WT:RFV?
  • Are these brands, or are these shortenings from fans, like western abbreviations such as TLOZ, SMD (Sega Mega Drive)?

@Myrelia, even as shortenings from fans, these entries that have only senses concerning brand names would themselves fall under WT:BRAND, as I read it. I would argue that English TLOZ fits this as well. English SMD does not, because that has multiple other senses. (That said, SMD looks like it needs a cleanup.) ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │Tala við mig 20:32, 27 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
Both official and from fans, and incredibly banal (incomplete list of just anime, not to mention video games, light novels, companies, etc.). —Suzukaze-c (talk) 22:11, 27 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
