This term was on WT:RFD#affiant. DCDuring claims that "there only seems to be the legal meaning for this word." This is an RFV for a meaning distinct from the legal sense. DAVilla 05:17, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

Searched Google Books for a while, found nothing divorced from legal terminology. bd2412 T 23:42, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
