Changed def from "The action of the verb to like", which doesn't fit either citation, to "a like", which does. See also disliking (noun). Equinox 19:42, 2 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Possible missing biblical senses[edit]

Chambers 1908 has these senses, marked biblical: (i) a noun: "condition, plight"; (ii) an adjective: "as in good-liking, well-liking, in good condition". Equinox 16:12, 24 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
