Nasal Stop, or Velar Nasal Stuffs[edit]

I believe the n is not a velar nasal a la Sing, but rather a nasal stop such as the n in nasal. I linked to a pronunciation in my last edit check it yo (the MW one). no one says sveng-golly. A terminological quibble: m,n,and ng (as in sing) are all nasal stops. The distinction here is between a velar nasal stop (ng) and a dental or alveolar nasal stop (n). I do agree, though, that the sound in question is n, not ng. Chuck Entz (talk) 04:04, 10 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
