Archaic label

[edit]

After diff, entries like art, hast, wilt, and thinkest (indeed, apparently most of the entries that use this template) now display "(archaic) (archaic) second-person singular simple present form of", and yet the context tag in the entry can't be removed without losing the categorization. It seem like either the tag should be removed from this template, or "nocat=1" should be removed (so that the tags can be removed from the entries)... or better yet, IMO, we should incorporate archaic into the definition — "archaic second-person singular simple present form of" — and then delete the instances of archaic that are in entries. Then we should also have this template supply a dedicated category, like Category:English archaic second-person singular forms. - -sche (discuss) 00:10, 16 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

The categorisation shouldn't be used for verb forms because they would swamp the entry. The categorisation that this template provides is already a subcategory of the archaic terms category anyway. —CodeCat 00:18, 16 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
