Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wiktionary. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wiktionarian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk (discussion) and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~, which automatically produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the beer parlour or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome!

P.S. I reverted your edit to beamer, because information on other languages isn't relevant to the English section. If your point is that you believe that sense not to exist in English, then the best thing to do is to tag that sense with {{rfv-sense}} and start a discussion at Wiktionary:Requests for verification, so we can determine whether there might be English-speaking regions where it is used, etc. Thanks again. :-) —RuakhTALK 05:46, 10 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
