bromocriptine (countable and uncountable, plural bromocriptines)
- (pharmacology) A drug used in the treatment of parkinsonism, galactorrhea, and other conditions. It is a synthetic analog of the ergot alkaloids and stimulates the dopaminergic receptors of the brain, inhibiting the release of prolactin.
