  2. Material (cloth to be made into a garment).
  3. A soil type: firm, moraine ground covered with a relatively thin layer of organic topsoil called podsol; also kangasmaa.
  4. A forest type growing on such soil, predominantly coniferous; boreal forest; also kangasmetsä.
