1. A former currency of Montenegro between 1906 and 1918, divided into 100 para.
   • 1911, Austria-Hungary: With Excursions to Cetinje, Belgrade, and Bucharest: Handbook for Travellers, page 412:

     The coinage consists of copper pieces of 1 (jedna) para or heller and 2 (dwe) paras; nickel pieces of 10 (desset) and 20 (dwadesset) paras; silver pieces of 1 (jedan) perper or krone and 5 (pet) perpera; and gold pieces of 10, 20, and 100 perpera.

   • 1914, The Numismatist, page 404:

     New coins as follows—[…] Montenegro, King Nicholas, one and two perpera.

   • 1967, A Survey of Numismatic Research 1960-1965, page 65:

     F. Wieser informs further, that Montenegro issued paper money (currency notes) in 1912 in denominations of 1, 2, 5, 10, 50 and 100 perpera for an amount of two million perpera. The second issue was of July 1914 in denominations of 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 perpera, and again in July 1914 and December 1915 new currency notes in denominations of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 perpera. During the war the value of the paper perper was fixed at 50 Austrian hellers.
