relative superlative (plural relative superlatives)

  1. (grammar) In Greek: one of the degrees of comparison of an adjective, the equivalent in English of the superlative, similar to the comparative superlative used in Spanish. Compare with absolute superlative.
    Ο χειρότερος is the relative superlative form of κακός.
