Inherited from Ottoman Turkish صاغالتمق (saġaltmaḳ),[1] from صاغ (saġ),[2] equivalent to sağ (alive, healty, sound) +‎ -al (verb-forming suffix) +‎ -t (causative voice) +‎ -mak.
