stiletto heel (plural stiletto heels)

  1. A heel of a shoe that is very narrow the bottom - the base has less than one square centimeter of surface. They are typically 5 to 10 centimeters (2 to 4 inches) high, but can be much higher. Lower ones are sometimes called kitten heels.
