zoom out (third-person singular simple present zooms out, present participle zooming out, simple past and past participle zoomed out)

  1. (intransitive) To focus a zoom lens in order to obtain a smaller image, or a more distant view.
  2. (intransitive) To manipulate a display (such as a computer screen) so as to make it smaller and possibly less detailed.
