اِنْقَلَبَ (inqalaba) VII (non-past يَنْقَلِبُ (yanqalibu), verbal noun اِنْقِلَاب (inqilāb))

  1. to be turned upside down or topsy-turvy, to be overturned
  2. to be converted, to change, to transform [with accusative or إِلَى (ʔilā) ‘into something’]
  3. (copulative) to become [with accusative or إِلَى (ʔilā) ‘something’]
