[edit]- Tuk-tuks (auto rickshaws) are formally called รถสามล้อเครื่อง (rót-sǎam-lɔ́ɔ-krʉ̂ʉang), literally meaning "three-wheeled motor vehicle(s)".
- Pedicabs (pedal-operated rickshaws) are generally called สามล้อ (sǎam-lɔ́ɔ), literally meaning "three-wheel(ers)", and are formally called รถสามล้อถีบ (rót-sǎam-lɔ́ɔ-tìip), literally meaning "three-wheeled pedal vehicle(s)".
