łe- ‎(into soil) + ʼa- ‎(unspecified person object prefix) + di- ‎(fire) + -Ø- ‎(3rd person subject prefix) + -l- ‎(classifier) + -chʼííł ‎(imperfective verb stem). The łe- prefix derives from łeeh ‎(into soil), a contraction of łeezh ‎(soil), and -iih ‎(into).
