[edit]Inherited from Byzantine Greek ὁλόφωτος (holóphōtos).[1] Morphologically, from (όλος) ολο- ((ólos) olo-, “holo- whole, entire”) + (φως) φωτ- ((fos) fot-, “light”) + -ος (-os).
