Etymology

It seems formally evident to connect φάσκος (pháskos), in which case the bag would have denominated after a skin from which the hairs have not been removed. Pokorny connects also βάσκιοι (báskioi, bundles of dry wood). A Lua error in Module:parameters at line 376: Parameter 2 should be a valid language, etymology language or family code; the value "pregrc" is not valid. See WT:LOL, WT:LOL/E and WT:LOF. origin seems probable.
