Etymology

Perhaps from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Indo-European *h₁ulh₁ro- and cognate with Ancient Greek εὔληρα (eúlēra, reins) and Latin lōrum (thong, rawhide whip, rein). In view of phonological difficulties Martirosyan considers this a Mediterranean (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Lua error in Module:parameters at line 290: Parameter 1 should be a valid language or etymology language code; the value "qfa-sub" is not valid.
