מַאֲכֶלֶת (ma'akhéletf (plural indefinite מַאֲכָלוֹת)

  1. knife for slaughtering, butchering, carving

      וַיִּשְׁלַח אַבְרָהָם אֶת־יָדוֹ וַיִּקַּח אֶת־הַמַּאֲכֶלֶת לִשְׁחֹט אֶת־בְּנוֹ׃
      vayishlákh 'avrahám 'et-yadó vayikákh 'et-hama'akhélet lishkhót 'et-b'nó.
      wayyišlaḥ ʾaḇrāhām ʾeṯ-yāḏō wayyiqqaḥ ʾeṯ-hammaʾăḵéleṯ lišḥōṭ ʾeṯ-bənō.
