     Ha-ḥayyáv ba-shqedím ha-marím, paṭúr ba-mtuqím; ha-ḥayyav ba-mtuqím, paṭúr ba-marím.

     When bitter almonds are taxable, sweet ones are exempt; when sweet ones are taxable, bitter ones are exempt.
