أَوْشَكَ (ʔawšaka) IV (non-past يُوشِكُ (yūšiku), verbal noun إِيشَاك (ʔīšāk))

  1. to almost do something [with non-past or أَن (ʔan, + subjunctive clause)]
    Synonyms: كَادَ (kāda), (rare) كَرَبَ (karaba)
    يُوشِكُ أَنْ يَكُونَ دُكْتُورًا
