Etymology[edit]
From دوگمه (düğme, “button”) + ـلنمك (-lenmek, suffix forming passive infinitives from stems ending in front vowels).
Verb[edit]
دوگمهلنمك • (düğmelenmek) (intransitive)
- to button up, to fasten all the buttons on a coat
- (of a coat or other clothes) to become furnished with buttons
