Etymology
[edit]Inherited from Proto-Turkic *yẹgirmi (“twenty”); cognate with Old Turkic 𐰘𐰏𐰃𐰼𐰢𐰃 (y²gir²mi), Azerbaijani iyirmi, Bashkir егерме (yegerme), Chuvash ҫирӗм (śirĕm), Kazakh жиырма (jiyrma), Kyrgyz жыйырма (jıyırma), Turkmen ýigrimi, Uyghur يىگىرمە (yigirme) and Uzbek yigirma.
