- (intransitive) to dry out, become dry
- ܢܲܗܪܵܐ ܒܸܬ ܝܵܒ݂ܹܫ ܐܸܕܩܲܝܛܵܐ. ― nahrā bit yāḇēš idqayṭā. ― The river will dry out this summer.
- (intransitive) to wither, shrivel
