[edit]Inherited from Old Marathi 𑘕𑘳𑘖𑘜𑘹 (jujhaṇe), from 𑘕𑘳𑘽𑘖𑘜𑘹 (juṃjhaṇe), from Maharastri Prakrit 𑀚𑀼𑀚𑁆𑀛𑀇 (jujjhaï), from Sanskrit युध्यते (yúdhyate). Related to झुंज (jhuñja). Compare Gujarati ઝૂઝવું (jhūjhvũ), Hindustani جُوجْھنَا (jūjhnā) / जूझना (jūjhnā), Punjabi ਜੂਝਣਾ (jūjhṇā) / جُوجھݨا (jūjhṇā), Odia ଜୁଜ୍ଝିବା (jujjhibā), Bengali জুঝা (jujha), Assamese যুঁজা (zũza).
