[edit]Inherited from Sauraseni Prakrit 𑀲𑁄𑀳𑀕𑁆𑀕 (sohagga), from Sanskrit सौभाग्य (saubhāgya). Cognate with Gujarati સોહાગ (sohāg). Doublet of सौभाग्य (saubhāgya), a tatsama.
