Learned borrowing from Sanskrit অটল (aṭala). By surface analysis, অ- (o-) +‎ টল (ṭol). Compare Assamese অটল (otol), Odia ଅଟଳ (aṭaḷa), Hindustani اٹل / अटल (aṭal).
