Cognate with Northern Thai ᨡ᩶ᩣ᩠ᨾ, Lao ຂ້າມ (khām), Shan ၶၢမ်ႈ (khāam), Ahom 𑜁𑜪 (khaṃ), Zhuang hamj and gamj (dialectal).
