[edit]From ა- (a-) + შქურ- (şkur-) + -ინ- (-in-) + -ს (-s). Inherited from Proto-Kartvelian *šur- (“to be in an awkward situation; fear”).

- to be afraid of someone
- დიდო ნაქხვამუმს კოჩიშე გაშქურინზ.
- dido nakxvamums ǩoçişe gaşkurinz.
