Etymology

From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Old Georgian, a compound of პირი (ṗiri) and მშო (mšo), both from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Kartvelian. Second part is akin to შვილი (švili), შობა (šoba), შვა (šva), etc.
