სუფთა
Georgian
Etymology
From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Hittite [script needed] (suppi, “clean”). Most likely a Proto-Kartvelian borrowing during the late, Proto-Karto-Zan stage of development (XIX-VIII centuries BC).(Can this(+) etymology be sourced?)
On the other hand, according to Ačaṙean, borrowed from Iranian from a word in the family of Persian سفید (safid, “white”).
