- Manyprickle Acanthopanax tablets used in traditional Chinese medicine "to reinforce qi, to invigorate the function of the spleen and the kidney, and to calm the nerves in the treatment of hypofunction of the spleen and the kidney marked by general weakness, lassitude, anorexia, aching of the loins and knees, insomnia and dream-disturbed sleep". These tablets are made from Acanthopanacis Senticosi (刺五加).
