Etymology

Regular phonological variant of -очка (-očka) after unpaired palatal or originally palatal sounds, or from -ек (-ek) +‎ -ка (-ka); in both cases, originally a double diminutive.

  • Properties are the same as for -очка (-očka) except that velars are palatalized.
