Formed in Armenian as -իւ (-iw) +‎ -ք (-kʻ). Alternatively, inherited from Proto-Indo-European.

Suffix[edit]

-իւք • (-iwkʻ)

  1. the plural instrumental case ending of i-stem nouns
    բանիւք ― baniwkʻ ― instrumental plural of բան (ban)
