    vlk (wolf) + ‎-ouš → ‎vlkouš (wolffish)
    voda (water) + ‎-ouš → ‎vodouš (redshank, a wading bird)
  2. (colloquial, expressive) a suffix forming agent nouns or nicknames, often colloquial or pejorative
    starý (old) + ‎-ouš → ‎starouš ('old man', husband (in a wife's speech); friend, pal (endearing))
    teplý (gay (informal)) + ‎-ouš → ‎teplouš (fairy (pejorative))
